‘Heroes Of The Storm’ Brings Together Zarya & Many More Blizzard Characters; Reveals New 'Overwatch' Map

"Heroes of the Storm" is filled with various characters from various game franchises of Blizzard. The free-to-play MOBA already has Tracer. Tracer is the only "Overwatch" character to get included before. This is going to change soon as Zarya will get added in the Nexus for the next update of "Heroes of the Storm."

Blizzard made the announcement during Gamescom that Zarya from "Overwatch" and Alarak from "Starcraft" will also be a part of the new characters who are getting included in the upcoming "Machines of War." The players who are familiar with "Overwatch" would definitely know the abilities displayed by Zarya as a "Heroes of the Storm" character.

Zarya has many abilities. Her Q ability is particle grenade which is very similar to her secondary fire in Blizzard's competitive shooter. Zarya also has the ability to shield both herself and her allies from damage. Zarya also has a very unique power - Graviton Surge which pulls the enemy into a target location. This will ensure that the enemy team cannot make an easy escape. This makes Zarya invaluable in the "Heroes of the Storm" update, reported MyGaming.

The inclusion of Zarya and Alarak in the "Heroes of the Storm" is just the beginning. In the near future, there will a number of heroes like Rexxar, Butcher and Kerrigan. The theme of the new "Heroes of the Storm" is Starcraft. This is the reason why Rexxar (and his bear) is seen in a power armor in a new form. At the same time, Butcher has transformed into a terrifying new form of Zerg. The original Starcraft character, Kerrigan, also takes a new form as Queen of Ghosts. To match Kerrigan's look, a new mount is also being added in the form of the Ghost Speeder, reported Tech Times.

The update of the "Heroes of the Storm" also has two new Starcraft-themed maps. The first one is a two-lane map called the Braxis Holdout. In this the players fill a holding cell of Zerg minions in order to perform a deadly Zerg rush. This is designed to help destroy the enemy base. The other map is called the Warhead Junction. This is a three-lane map in which players collect warheads. These warheads can prove to be quite deadly to the enemy team.
