Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson Update: 'Twilight' Alumna Says Relationship With Actor Was Not Real Life, Made Into Product

"Twilight" alums Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson made fans sad about their split years ago as they were seen as one of the most popular Hollywood couples due to the vampire-werewolf franchise that they starred in as Bella and Edward. However, Stewart recently shared in a recent interview with New York Time's style magazine's, T, latest issue that their relationship was not real and was instead made into a product.

Stewart and Pattinson's shipping name was "Robsten" and the actress pointed out that mixing her personal and professional life taught her a lesson. She said, "People wanted me and Rob to be together so badly that our relationship was made into a product. It wasn't real life anymore. And that was gross to me."

The actress continued to reveal that one of the reasons why they ended things was not because she was trying to hide who she is or anything she is doing but because she no longer wanted to be part of a story of entertainment value, E! News reported.

The relationship of Stewart and Pattinson ended shortly after the final "Twilight" film was released and after she was caught in a cheating scandal with the director of "Snowhite and the Huntsman."

Aside from talking about Pattinson, Stewart shared with T that she is not the typical showman but at the same time wants to expose herself badly. She said that she wants to be understood and seen in the rawest, purest, most naked way she can be.

She then went on to talk about her three-year relationship with Alicia Cargile. She revealed, "I would never talk about any of my relationships before, but once I started dating girls it seemed like there was an opportunity to represent something really positive," Entertainment Weekly reported.

Since her split from Pattinson and the end of the "Twilight" saga, Stewart has taken on roles in successful movies such as "Clouds of Sils Maria" and "Café Society." She is also set to appear on "Personal Shopper" and "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk."
