NBA Trade Rumors: Atlanta Hawks And Sacramento Kings In A Huge Trade Talk Involving Rudy Gay?

Rudy Gay is among the most popular names that are associated with trade talks. Reports have it that the Sacramento Kings forward is itching to join another team in the upcoming NBA season. According to latest NBA trade rumors, Kings and Atlanta Hawks are in trade talks involving Gay.

Rumors are rife that Rudy Gay and Sacramento Kings will be parting ways soon. Kings are ready to lose Gay in the upcoming NBA league. Parent Herald previously reported that Gay is very open with his discontentment in how his career goes with his current team.

Gay reportedly wants stability but he can't sense this in Sacramento. The talented player wants to experience the security that Paul Pierce and Jamal Crawford enjoy in Los Angeles Clippers.

Kings are now actively seeking a potential team to land for Rudy Kings and per Inquisitr, Kings are in a huge trade talk with Atlanta Hawks involving Rudy Gay. Per the report, Hawk is the latest team to show interest in acquiring Gay. Houston Rockets, Miami Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves have reportedly had an internal discussion with Rudy Gay.

Parent Herald also reported that Kings had a three-way trade talk with Chicago Bulls and Phoenix Sun involving Rudy Gay. In the said trade, Gay is likely to land in the Bulls and play alongside Dwayne Wade and Jimmy Butler.

Back to Rudy Gay joining Atlanta Hawks, the report stressed that Hawks wants to acquire Gay to perfect their roster this summer. At the time, Hawks has Dwight Howard for their defense. They also have the veteran point guards Jarett Jack and Paul Millsap on their roster.

The Atlanta Hawks and Sacramento Kings could work if the right assets are swapped. Yibada suggested that Hawks should swap Tiago Splitter and their first round draft pick to Kings, so the latter will approve.

Rudy Gay has already issued a trade request to Kings because he wants to play for another team in the upcoming NBA league. The Kings are considering on trading Gay because he has a player option for the next season where he could just walk away without leaving any compensation for the team. At least, by trading Gay, Sacramento Kings can expect a new addition to their roster.
