Amy Adams Husband-To-Be: Darren Le Gallo Facts You May Want to Know

After a long engagement, five-time Oscar-nominated actress Amy Adams is set to marry her long-time partner, Darren Le Gallo, this weekend. The star of "American Hustle" and Le Gallo are parents to a daughter, named Aviana, who is turning five years old in May.

"Amy and Darren are getting married this weekend in Los Angeles in a ceremony that will be intimate and very genuine. The guest list is being kept very small and she has kept the location very much under wraps," revealed a source on Page Six.

The actress' relationship with her fiancé has been very low-key all these years. Not a lot of people know that they have actually been together since 2002, a fact that may be very hard to sustain when you're in a relationship with an in demand Hollywood actress.

While she is a familiar face for movie lovers, there's not enough the public know about her husband-to-be. So, just who is Darren Le Gallo and how did this relationship last for such a long time? Here are five things about Amy's guy:

1.       Amy Adams, 40, and Darren Le Gallo, also 40, met in an acting class, according to People Magazine. The two were engaged in 2008 but did not need to rush the wedding. In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2013, Adams said, "We both have a very specific idea that we want to do this [the ceremony] in spring or fall, like in those months, but every time I'm busy working. I want something very family oriented and laid-back."

2.       On his social media accounts like Instagram and Twitter, Le Gallo often shares his work. He's an artist and a writer, and he is working on a graphic novel. He has done art exhibits in the past, with Amy playing the supportive partner.

3.       As an actor, he has a web series, called "Then We Got Help." He was in it for 10 episodes. He was also a guest on the HBO series "Six Feet Under." However, Darren's acting work is mostly in doing short stories, according to his IMDb page.

4.       A fan community of Darren on Facebook says that he's also a rally driver.

5.       According to Amy in the Page Six report, the father of her child is quite the protective guy. "If anything, he's probably a little more protective," she shared. "He's very protective of other people's ownership of me."

Amy also called her future husband "completely capable and lovely, and beautiful" in previous interviews. "I know he offers something I could never hope to offer just in the nature of his being," the actress remarked.
