"Game of Thrones" Season 7 spoilers tease that Rhaegar Targaryen may be joining the cast next season. A leaked casting notice for the upcoming season featured specific characteristics, which seem to refer to a much-awaited character from George R.R. Martin's books, reports Carter Matt.

The casting notice did not indicate any particular name for the character, but the publication notes that every detail in the description seemingly pertains to Rhaegar. There is a possibility, however, that the HBO series is only keeping everyone confused in order to keep "GOT" Season 7 spoilers away from being known to the public before it airs on TV.

It is known that "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will be the second to the last season of the well-loved and critically-acclaimed HBO series. In an interview with Deadline, series creators David Benioff and Weiss shared some important hints about the characters in the upcoming season.
