‘Sense8’ Season 2 Cancellation News: Michael J. Straczynski Confirms More Answers Behind Sensates’ Mythology [SPOILERS]

"Sense8" Season 2 cancellation news have been making rounds online because of the continued silence from Netflix on the show's air date for the upcoming season. In a recent interview with Michael J. Straczynski, the series creator confirmed that answers will be provided in the new season of the sci-fi drama.

"Sense8" is rumored to be canceled after Season 2 after several news sites claimed that the reason behind the cancellation is the recent casting of Sikander Kher. Gulf News reported on the casting of Kher for an unknown role.

Back then, Kher confirmed that his role in "Sense8" Season 2 will be "small but important." This short statement already resulted to different speculations - from his character playing the role of a villain to his casting leading to the series finale.

Various reports suggest that Kher was demanding a lot of money to play the role in "Sense8" Season 2, which ultimately led to the decision to cancel the series. However, it can be noted that Kher already made it clear that his role is a small one; though his character is important to the story, it is highly unlikely for Netflix to cancel the series because of that.

Michael J. Straczynski also told Gold Derby in an interview that "Sense8" Season 2 will provide answers to questions that have been looming in fans' minds since Season 1. According to the series creator, the upcoming season of the Netflix sci-fi drama will reveal answers behind the mythology and how and why the eight Sensates were connected.

"Sense8" Season 2 airs in early 2017 on Netflix. Do you think "Sense8" Season 2 should be its last or should it go on for more seasons? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
