Square Enix is treating their "Kingdom Hearts" fans with another game in the upcoming franchise. According to the recent "Kingdom Hearts 3" reports, the title was spotted in the Nintendo NX listed but was removed shortly.
Nintendo Insider reported that EB Games Australia listed "Kingdom Hearts 3" for Nintendo NX but it was short lives because they immediately removed it. The report stressed that "Kingdom Hearts 3" was priced at $119.95 for Nintendo NX. It was seen alongside "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" and "Just Dance 2017."
Per Gaming Bolt, Square Enix is very hot on Nintendo NX. In fact, their upcoming games, "Dragon Quest X," "Dragon Quest XI," "Dragon Quest Builders" and "Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn" are set for Nintendo NX. Thus, it is not unlikely for Square Enix to also release "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the said platform.
However, EB Games denied that they listed "Kingdom Hearts 3" on their site and stressed that the photo making rounds online was manipulated by a photo editing software. In a tweet, EB Games announced, "Hey there! This item has never been available for preorder on our website. I would guess some amount of Photoshop was involved."
As for the "Kingdom Hearts" fans they believe that Square Enix is keeping their silence because they initially planned to save this as a headline announcement for the Nintendo NX reveal. The "Kingdom Hearts" series has been spotted on Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS, so it is likely for the "Kingdom Hearts 3" to also appear in Nintendo NX.
What do you think is "Kingdom Hearts 3" coming to Nintendo NX or not? Do you believe EB Games Australia's words that the photo that is making rounds online is just edited? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
