NBA News: ‘Lance Stephenson’ Already Found A New Team?; The New York Knicks Will Sign Stephenson On a Veteran Minimum?

Lance Stephenson still hangs on the NBA free agent pool as no NBA team has just signed him yet. The New York Knicks are reported to have more bench depth and seems Lance Stephenson can fill the position and the Knicks are ready to sign him.

The NBA off-season has yet to end and still no NBA team has signed Lance Stephenson, but it looks like the New York Knicks might come to sign him. The Knicks is currently regrouping and they are expected to be a contender this coming NBA season, Stephenson could be a good help coming off the bench.

Lance Stephenson is a defense ministry that can also utilize an offensive explosiveness. According to Inquisitr, the Knicks is looking towards Stephenson to play as a backup shooting to the newly signed Courtney Lee. Lance Stephenson is also a useful player that he can even fit in a small lineup, though he is undersized in forward position he can manage to put his body due to his strength and lateral quickness.

Stephenson was known for his defensive skills, he can distract outside shooters and is good at defending the driving lane. Due to his on-court attitude, Stephenson's playing style was compared to Dennis Rodman, as Lance Stephenson can get into the head of any opposing NBA player.

With just 2 months to go before the 2016-2017 NBA season starts, the free agent Lance Stephenson hasn't found any team yet with the doubts on his attitude and maturity. The Knicks could possibly sign Lance Stephenson, but it might be a veteran minimum.

Another option for Lance Stephenson if no NBA team would sign him is playing overseas like any other NBA player does. In a report made by TheScore, the Memphis Grizzlies turned down the $9 million team option by Lance Stephenson due to his unstable personality.

As the new NBA Season is coming this Fall, currently, the New York Knicks seem to be the last option for Lance Stephenson, most NBA teams are scared off because of his personality issues. If the Knicks opted not to sign him, we could possibly watch Lance Stephenson in Chinese Basketball Association.
