NBA Trade Rumors: Ricky Rubio, Nerlens Noel And Brook Lopez Could Potentially Land On The Trade Block In The NBA 2016-17 Season

The NBA trade rumors this offseason is becoming surprisingly unbelievable. It seems that most players could be hitting the trade block this offseason. According to recent reports, Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez, Philadelphia 76ers forward and center Nerlens Noel, and Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio could all be wearing another jersey in the upcoming NBA season.

This report might sound off but Lang Greene of Basketball Insiders hinted that these players could be hitting the trade block soon. Parent Herald previously reported that Brooklyn Nets is planning to sign Kenneth Faried to complete their big three, which allegedly includes Brook Lopez and Jeremy Lin.

However, if this NBA trade rumor is true that Brooklyn Nets is letting go of Brook Lopez, then the alleged big three, including Lopez is not true. Per the report, Nets ended empty handed when they tried to sign the free agents Tyler Johnson and Allen Crabbe.

Miami Heat and Portland Trail Blazers matched Nets offer. Tyler Johnson ended with Heats while Allen Crabbe went to Blazers. The reports suggest that Nets is now ready to evaluate offers involving Brook Lopez to rebuild the team.

On the other hand, NBA trade rumors have it that Nerlens Noel is another player to look forward to on the trading block this NBA season. Philadelphia 76ers is rich with young talents including Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid and Dario Saric. Thus, parting ways with Noel wouldn't be that difficult for them.

Nerlens Noel is likely to land in Cleveland Cavaliers. Parent Herald previously reported that LeBron James need big men to deliver a back-to-back championship to Cavs and the big men could include Noel or Jahlil Okafor.

On a side note, Ricky Rubio might also join the trading block this NBA season. Per the report, when Minnesota Timberwolves acquire the promising guard Kris Dunn, Ricky Rubio's future with the Timberwolves has become blurry.
