‘Rizzoli & Isles’ Season 7 Episode 12 [LATEST SPOILERS]: Penultimate Episode Hinting Jane’s Potential Lover? Maura To Quit Job As Medical Examiner?

Some "Rizzoli & Isles" fans are definitely getting emotional and nostalgic as the series reaches its penultimate episode and gears up for its season finale next week. Based on latest "Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 episode 12 spoiler reports, Boston's infamous crime-busting duo Detective Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and medical examiner Dr. Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander) will face a series of challenges in their personal and career lives.

In addition, Jane and Maura will also deal with double murder cases that will have a deep and personal impact to Vince Korsak (Bruce McGill). According to CarterMatt, the upcoming episode titled, "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow," will feature Jane and Maura as they solve two different killings but the twist is the fact that one of the said murders happened in the past but also bears a significant connection to Korsak and the present murder case.

Aside from the murders and the Korsak connection, "Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 episode 12 will also give a glimpse of how the characters face the next chapters of their lives. In the previous episode, fans already saw how Jane informed her family about her new teaching career in Quantico but an unexpected visit could lead to Jane getting a love life, as per the episode's official synopsis on TV Guide.

Maura, on the other hand, will somewhat embark on a soul-searching journey where she'll discover her next life's mission but an "unsettling feedback" on her novel will affect her in "Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 episode 12. Moreover, International Business Times hinted the possibility that Maura could be quitting her job as Boston's chief medical examiner when she asked her assistant, Kent Drake (Adam Sinclair), if he can manage the office.

With that said, "Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 episode 12 promotional video showed Jane encouraging Maura to start a new career path. The video also revealed how busy Maura is when it comes to pursuing her career in writing novels while Jane appeared to be going on a date.

Meanwhile, "Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 episode 12 is set to premiere on Monday, Aug. 29 at 9 p.m. on TNT. As for the season finale of the hit TNT series titled, "Ocean Frank," will air on Sept. 5.
