Dave Annable & Wife Odette to Become Parents After 5 Years of Marriage

Celebrity couple Dave Annabele and Odette Yustman Annable had an amazing celebration last Mother's Day. The actress, 30, excitedly announced on her Instagram account that they are finally having a baby after five years of marriage.

On the picture-sharing social network, Odette shared a photo of her husband and herself, with her pregnant belly already showing. "Happy Mother's Day! This year, I'm SO happy to announce that I get to join the party!" the actress wrote and added the hashtag #babyannable on her Instagram post. The happy news also comes as the future mom celebrated her birthday, according to E! Online. Odette is actually born on May 10.

Following this, her husband Dave, 35, also expressed his excitement online via his Twitter account. "It's out! I can now wish my beautiful wife a very happy birthday AND a Happy 1st #MothersDay! Me and #BabyAnnable are so lucky to have you," Dave tweeted.

In their enthusiasm for the upcoming addition to their family, the happy couple spent Mother's Day shopping for baby stuff at the luxury store Petit Bateau in Paris since they are currently on a tour of Europe, according to the E! Online report. The couple even posted a photo of their first purchase for their baby.

Their pregnancy news doesn't come as a surprise, however, as the couple have been husband and wife since October 2010. The two met while doing a TV series together. In "Brothers and Sisters" on ABC, Dave and Odette's characters were also a couple.

Back when the pair had been planning their wedding, Dave already expressed that he wants to start a family. "I want a little hockey team. I'm a little bit older than she is ... I'm going grey, I wear cardigans now. It's time, you know, I have the itch," said Annable in a People Magazine interview.

With Odette, Dave gushed about having married his best friend and that he "couldn't be happier," according to US Magazine.

No other details about the pregnancy has been revealed but the actress will soon be visible on television when her new show, "The Astronaut Wives Club," premieres on ABC later this season. She already filmed her scenes for the series back in 2014.

Meanwhile, Dave will be returning to TV in the fall with a new medical series, "Heartbreaker," for NBC. The show is based on the life of Dr. Kathy Magliato, a world-renowned heart transplant surgeon.
