MacBook Pro 2016 Final Leaks and Release Date: October Event Teased for Pro and Air Announcements

It looks like tech junkies will finally get to see the new MacBook Pro 2016 in a few months. Previous leaks and updates have suggested that the new Apple computer will feature some major upgrades including a thinner and lighter design.

According to The Verge, Apple is planning another unveiling event for the MacBook Pro 2016 release probably on October. This will be a month after the new iPhone 7 is unveiled on September 7, 2016. The site shared that Apple plans to make announcements for its new iMac desktop, the MacBook Pro and Air, and its new standalone monitor on the said event.

The site continued to report that the October event will also make some announcements on the updated iPads. The new iPad will not have any significant updates to its line-up, but Apple is looking at focusing on software upgrades to the iPad Pro.

Meanwhile, according to Bloomberg, some people who know what's been going on with the MacBook Pro 2016, debunked previous rumors that the new Pro won't sport the rumored OLED function keys. Apart from the new OLED bar, the new laptop will reportedly have significant upgrades in the graphics department.

It was previously speculated that the MacBook Pro 2016 will be released alongside the new iPhone 7. Recent reports have already confirmed that the September Apple event will focus on the new Apple smartphone.
