NBA Trade Rumors: DeMarcus Cousins Reuniting With John Wall? Cousins and Beal Trade In Talks

Trade Rumors are spreading that the Sacramento Kings are trying to move out DeMarcus Cousins. The Kings are not expecting that Cousins will re-sign after his contract next season.

DeMarcus Cousins have been linked to multiple trade rumors that might send him to different ball clubs. As of the moment, a new trade potential exists that involves Cousins and Washington Wizards' Bradley Beal.

According to Inquisitor, Bradley Beal has just signed a monstrous $127 million contract for five years with the Wizards and due to the on-court rift with John Wall, the Wizards may consider changing their roster. In this case, a possible trade scenario may come up.

The Washington Wizards might deal Bradley Beal to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for DeMarcus Cousins. Bradley Beal may seem to be the answer for the empty spot of the Kings which they are currently in search of a consistent scorer in a shooting guard position.

Bradley Beal is an explosive shooter outside the arc and has been one of the Wizards' scoring option next to John Wall. Beal is hitting 39.7 percent from the 3-point line with an impressive career average of 16 points and 3 assists per contest.

On the other hand, Chat Sports reported that most players of the Sacramento Kings are seemed to be unhappy the way the organization runs. As a result, players are leaving to sign with another team, it's like Rondo leaving to sign with the Bulls. The Sacramento Kings obviously knew that Cousins won't stay with them so the best thing to do is to trade him out as early as possible.

Taking in Cousins in the Washington Wizards would give them an advantage and disadvantage. Wizards already have Marcin Gortat and the newly signed Ian Mahinmi as their middle man, and Wizards might need to decrease playing time between the two to give priority for DeMarcus Cousins.

Cousins is one of the premier centers around the league and is considered to be the only player who is currently playing as a traditional center. A massive contributor, Cousins averaged a double-double figure 26.9 points and 11.5 rebounds per game and he was known to be a good low-post passer, a good rim protector and a passing lane defender. Cousins can provide a lot of impact for the Wizards as he will have the chance to reunite with his former Wildcats teammate John Wall.

If this trade would have agreed by the both teams, the deal will only be done until next year since Bradley Beal has just signed a new contract and is not eligible for an immediate trade. This potential trade may seem to be one of the blockbuster trades of this season.
