Ian Somerhalder Squashes Divorce Rumors With Nina Dobrev's Return To 'TVD' S8;Posts An Intimate Photo With Wife Nikki Reed
There is no doubt that many fell in love with "The Vampire Diaries" due to the unique and very romantic affair between Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder.) The ex-flames have successfully transpired the Delena romance to the "TVD" viewers.
Due to this, many are hoping to see Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder again in "The Vampire Diaries" season 8. Fans want a closure to Damon and Elena's love story. "TVD" fans have been holding on to this plot since Dobrev left the series and now that she's back, everyone wants the Delena romance again.
Unfortunately, Nina Dobrev's return in "The Vampire Diaries" is plagued with controversies. Reports have it that Nikki Reed is threatened with the ex-girlfriend of her husband. Reed is reportedly ready to divorce Ian Somerhalder if he reunited with Dobrev in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.
In view of this, some sources claim that Nina Dobrev will return as Katherine Pierce in "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 to lessen the tension with Nikki Reed. Ian Somerhalder has expressed his lack of interest to continue the Delena romance and wanted the series to have a brotherly ending instead.
