'Grey's Anatomy' Season 13 News & Spoilers: Shonda Rhimes Gives Explosive Spoilers On Major Cast Including The Possible Return Of Sandra Oh

September is here and now fans of "Grey's Anatomy" will be happy to know that Season 13 is just days away. The longest medical running drama of ABC is coming back and most fans are anticipating if Meredith and her stepsister Maggie would have tension now that they are eyeing the same guy. The on again/off again relationship of April and Jackson is also one of the most anticipated plots for this season.

Shonda Rhimes answered some of the most interesting questions about the fate of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 cast and fans are very excited about the answers. One of the main concerns for "Grey's Anatomy" fans would be the story line of April and Jackson.

As the two, mostly love each other but because of what happened to April and Jackson's first baby, the two eventually ended up having a messy divorce. But now that they have a child to take care, should fans expect that they get back together in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13?

"They're going to really try to do this in a healthy way, and is that healthy way going to feel so healthy when they still have feelings for each other," Shonda Rhimes asked during her interview with Entertainment. It seems that there is still a huge chance that April and Jackson would get back together now that they have a child together and with their feelings still growing for each other, it is inevitable that they end up together again.

The story of Meredith and Maggie will also be the highlight of "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13. Maggie is falling for Riggs but Meredith and Riggs already hooked up the night prior to the wedding. However, even if Maggie insists and may probably provide drama on Meredith about why Meredith should just give way for her and Riggs. But as most "Grey's Anatomy" fans know that no one could win in a love triangle if Meredith is involved.

Fans are also speculating whether Cristina Yang would come back and ruin the newlywed Amelia and Owen. However, there is still no concrete news regarding the return of Sandra Oh.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 is set to return on September 22 on ABC at 8:00 PM EST.
