Titled "Perfect Illusion," the song from the Lady Gaga new album will be the first mainstream pop record from the "Born This Way" singer since her fourth solo studio album "Artpop" in 2013.

The 30-year old artist herself confirmed the Lady Gaga new album, Billboard reported. She announced the release of the lead single of the Lady Gaga new album via Twitter, sending all the Little Monsters into frenzy. Even before the single was released in stores, "Perfect Illusion" has already hit the top spot on the Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks, a proof as to just how hotly anticipated the Lady Gaga new album is.

The promotional cycle for the Lady Gaga new album will also kick off a busy year for the popular singer-songwriter as she has been confirmed for her first starring role in the 2017 remake of the classic film "A Star Is Born" with Bradley Cooper, Deadline reported. The pair was seen hanging out and driving together in Malibu in preparation for their roles in the upcoming film.
