'Limitless' Season 2 Latest News & Air Date: Bradley Cooper Talks About Cancelled Show; Producer Sweeny Still Holds On Hope

Fans were mostly disturbed following the cancellation of "Limitless" Season 2. Most were looking at Bradley Cooper as the only hope the show may get. However, recent updates have revealed that Cooper may just stay away from the problem.

Bradley Cooper is the main actor for "Limitless" the movie and was also one of the producers for "Limitless" the TV series which make Cooper also responsible for the fate of the show. Reports have indicated that Bradley Cooper was also searching for possible networks to pick up the show but to no avail.

So what made CBS cancelled the show when it was still getting good numbers back in "Limitless" Season 2? Well, fans picked up "Limitless" at the beginning of the show and it enjoyed high ratings during the first couple of episodes. It slowly went down though in the middle season and went fairly low at the last episodes which made CBS to just cancel the show instead of just continuing it.

CBS, however, made an effort to offer "Limitless" Season 2 to Netflix and Amazon but both were not interested. Netflix only offered to air "Limitless" Season 1 and may probably consider if the first season gives them enough viewers.

Craig Sweeny, co-producer of "Limitless," was also making an effort in providing fans with "Limitless" Season 2. In fact, Sweeney is already prepared for the second season. "So, we're going to make some changes to the show, but it will remain essentially - we do find a way for it to be Brian taking NZT working with Rebecca and Boyle and a couple new members on the team, solving crimes and having fun a week-to-week basis," Sweeney said about "Limitless" Season 2.

The cast as well, are prepared to come back for "Limitless" Season 2 as reported by Parent Herald. It seems with everyone backing he show up which includes Bradley Cooper and Craig Sweeney asking for the renewal of "Limitless" Season 2 that any network would pick up, but until now fans are left to wonder, what really went wrong.
