NBA Rumors: Dwyane Wade To Sign A One-Day Contract With Miami Heat So He Will Retire As Heat? Wade Following Paul Pierce?

For those following Dwyane Wade's career, you will probably agree that the player was the face of Miami Heat. Wade has spent the first 13 years of his career with Heat and no one ever expected to see the Heat's leader playing for Chicago Bulls. However, according to reports, Dwyane Wade could sign a one-day contract with his former team so he will still retire as a Heat.

Although trading and hitting the free agency market in the NBA league is a common sentiment among players, Miami Heat was able to keep Dwyane Wade for long. In the past NBA league seasons, Heat has its best in the trio combination of LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Wade.

All three worked together to deliver Miami Heat a back-to-back championship in 2012 and 2013. But of the three, only Dwyane Wade has been with Miami the whole time. In fact, Wade has three championships with the team. The first one was in 2006.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh were drafted in 2003 and all of them are among the top 5 NBA draft pick in that season. James joined Cleveland Cavaliers, Bosh joined Toronto Raptors and Wade stayed with Miami Heat.

So, for those following Dwyane Wade's career, it is difficult to think of Wade joining another team. In the same way, it is hard seeing Miami Heat playing without Wade. Heat and Wade will always have a connection for NBA enthusiasts.

Due to this PalmBeachPost.com suggested that Dwyane Wade can still retire as a Heat by signing a one-day contract with the team before he put an end to his NBA career. According to the report, Paul Pierce will be doing this with Boston Celtics.

LA Clippers head coach Doc Rivers coached Paul Pierce in Boston Celtics for 10 years. Pierce was with Celtic for 12 years. According to Rivers, if Pierce decides to hang his jersey for good, he will sign a one-day contract with Boston Celtic to retire as Celtic and Dwyane Wade can do the same to retire as Heat.

But is this still necessary? Will Dwyane Wade to this when according to Miami Herald, the player's epic story with Heat ended in a traumatic and messy breakup? Do you support Wade leaving Heat? Will Miami Do better without Wade? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
