NBA Trade Rumors: LeBron James And Kevin Love's Birthday Wishes For J.R. Smith Is To Re-Sign With Cavs!

There is no doubt that a brotherhood forms between players within a team. We see this in Cleveland Cavaliers players LeBron James, Kevin Love and J.R. Smith. At the time, Smith has not re-signed with the Cavs yet but James and Love want to play with him in the upcoming NBA season.

According to Fansided, J.R. Smith turned 31 last Friday, Sept. 9. His former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates, LeBron James and Kevin Love took the time to make the birthday celebrant feel even more special by posting warm birthday greetings on their social media accounts.

LeBron James let J.R. Smith knows that he has faith in the player and sometimes, it is even more than Smith has for himself. James stressed that Smith is often misunderstood but the shooting guard is loyal, caring, passionate and trustworthy.

The King is hoping to play with J.R. Smith for Cleveland Cavaliers again in the upcoming NBA season. In fact, he wants Smith to remain as his wing backcourt mate.

On a side note, Kevin Love also posted another birthday greeting for J.R. Smith. Love recognizes Smith's potential and importance in Cavs.

Per the report, J.R. Smith and Kevin Love form an efficient catch-and-shoot tandem for the Cavs. The pair provided a consistent spacing that made LeBron James and Kyrie Irving more effective as slashers.

There is no doubt that J.R. Smith has great contributions in Cleveland Cavaliers' first NBA title. When the player hits the free agency, he and LeBron James were the top players. Several teams are associated with Smith, including Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves but the player remains a free agent.

According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, Cleveland Cavaliers and J.R. Smith both want to reunite. However, they just can't get to agree with the deal.

J.R. Smith wants a $15 million deal but Cavs only offered a $10 million deal. Windhorst added that nobody is bidding for Smith, so Cavs don't feel the need to increase their offer.

Will J.R. Smith play for Cleveland Cavaliers this NBA season? Will Cavs head to LeBron James and Kevin Love's wishes? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
