'Kim Kardashian: Hollywood' Game Download: Baby North & Kanye West Unrecognizable in New Update?

Prominent Internet and social media family, Kim, Kanye and North West, are now a virtual family, too. Glu Mobile, the company responsible for creating Kim Kardashian's video game app, "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood," announced that it has finally added two of the reality star's loved ones since its release in 2014.

While subscribers to the app will be happy to know that Kanye and North are already part of Kim's virtual environment, there have been a lot of buzz about how Kim's husband and daughter bear a little design problem as the video game characters look nothing like Kanye and North.

Glu Mobile first made the announcement on their Twitter account by posting a photo from the game, along with the caption, "Are you ready for the newest arrivals to the #KimKardashianGame?" As Entertainment Tonight noted, however, it was quite harder to guess the photo because the new characters were unrecognizable.

"Had there not been a caption, fans of the famous family may not have recognized Kim's husband and daughter. The only items that sort of resemble the real-life Kanye in this image are his watch and fashionable T-shirt," the entertainment outlet said.

In response, Glu Mobile said that the two new characters aren't actually Kanye and North. They never mentioned any names. In talking with Huffington Post, the company revealed that most people assumed wrong. If they were going to render video characters of Kim's husband and baby, it will definitely look like them. Kim, after all, is a stickler for details.

Speaking to AdWeek in March, the reality star said, "The look of the game was really important to me. I must have pulled thousands of references of all the different ways that characters should have their hair, the outfits and the shoes."

"One time there was a strap wrong on one of the character's shoes -- her feet weren't matching. I had to change the programming to fix that. It was important to me that everything is right," Kim revealed in the interview.

Since its launch, Kim's game app has been an unexpected success and has reportedly earned $200 million, according to Inquistr. The goal of the game is pretty simple: make Kim famous, and the players will have to assume the Kim character. Kim's sisters, Kylie and Kendall, are also part of the game. They are also getting their own app this year.
