NBA Trade Rumors: Ricky Rubio Join Cavs To Form A Super Tandem With Kyrie Irving

There is no denying that Golden State Warriors have the strongest lineup in the NBA league today. The current NBA champion, Cleveland Cavaliers is looking for ways to strengthen their roster. According to reports, Ricky Rubio is joining Cavs to form a power combo with Kyrie Irving.

Last NBA season, LeBron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to its first NBA title. The victory was both tough and sweet. However, Cavs chances in beating Warriors for the second time in a row is slim this NBA season because the super team just acquired another superstar in the NBA league, in the person of Kevin Durant.

The former OKC Thunder small forward made a bold move by joining an already strong team in the NBA league this season. Kevin Durant is a superstar and he could have led another inferior team in the playoffs but he chooses to be with the Warriors. Durant's addition to Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green's lineup just made GSW the strongest contender this NBA season.

In fact, there are reports claiming that LeBron James is threatened with Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant's combination. Cleveland Cavaliers is also working on improving their roster to give the Warriors a great game should they meet in the NBA finals again.

According to Ecumenical News, Cleveland Cavaliers is eyeing the Minnesota Timberwolves' point guard Ricky Rubio to add more depths in the team. Rubio could be a great running mate for Kyrie Irving.

The report stressed that Kyrie Irving will be among the starters for Cavs. Kay Felder will be Irving's backup but since he is a rookie, there are some concerns about his potential, this is where Ricky Rubio comes into the picture.

Cleveland Cavaliers should trade for one more point guard and that would be no other than Ricky Rubio. The Spanish star would make a great backup for Kyrie Irving and he is also skilled enough to take starting duties.
