'Fuller House' Season 2 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Jodi Sweetin' Teases More Singing, New Boyfriend In S2

The fun-loving and free-spirited Tanner middle child is getting a new boyfriend in "Fuller House" Season 2. Jodi Sweetin, who plays Stephanie Tanner in the series, confirmed in an interview that Stephanie will have a new love. The actress also dished that there will be more singing for Stephanie, which fans should be thrilled to hear again.

Speaking via a podcast interview, Jodi Sweetin revealed that more singing for her character is definitely involved in "Fuller House" Season 2. The actress is contractually obligated not to reveal much about what's coming up, but she still confirmed earlier reports that Stephanie is getting a new boyfriend.

In April, TV Line revealed that Stephanie Tanner will be paired with a good looking singer and songwriter named Jimmy, who sounds like the perfect match for the "Fuller House" babe. Jimmy also has a quirky side that gels well with Stephanie's love for fun. Will this finally lead to Stephanie settling down in "Fuller House"?

Producers of the series revealed that Stephanie's grown-up character on "Fuller House" is the kind of person who doesn't want to be tied down. She loves to travel and have adventures, which is why she still hasn't settled into a family of her own unlike big sister DJ (Candace Cameron Bure).

However, as revealed in "Fuller House" Season 1, Stephanie also knows the truth about her ability to have kids. "Fuller House" creator Jeff Franklin told TV Line that Stephanie's backstory was intentional. "I didn't want Stephanie to have children," he revealed to the news outlet.

How this upcoming love story involving Stephanie could change her character remains to be seen. Fans of "Fuller House" will have to wait for a couple of months to get their answers. Netflix has yet to reveal the second season's premiere date, but it's likely the show will be released on the streaming site during the holidays.
