In a report held by Gamespot, Ubisoft management apologized for the delay of "The Division" public test server. Ubisoft cited that they really need to fix everything and make sure that they will deliver the new content of "The Division" without major issues.

"The Division" public test server has been delayed, which supposed to launch this September 15, Thursday. Also, the Special Report for Update 1.4 which is set to release today was canceled as well. Ubisoft stated in their blog post that they wouldn't be able to show the contents as they like to.

Speaking of delay schedule, the upcoming "The Division" DLC expansion, which is scheduled to release this year has also been moved. This will be the 3rd expansion for "The Division" and is delayed until early 2017.

All delays are due to "The Division" Update 1.4. The update 1.4 is very critical for the new content and for the upcoming "The Division" DLC because all the features of "The Division" update 1.4 are needed before the game can move forward.

"The Division" update 1.4 includes bug fixes for relevant loots, enemy difficulties, solo player experience, PVP balancing, gear sets and weapon balancing. Ubisoft wants to make sure that everything works well before they release it in public.

"The Division" gained its fame due to its unique gameplay, a first-person shooter in an open-world map. Realistic weapon, environments and player interaction are the main features of "The Division", this resulted in a high number of sales since its release last March 6th 2016.
