The Toronto Raptors are reportedly in search of a new big man at least before the new NBA season starts. Kenneth Faried has been rumored to be one of the targets for the Raptors.

Kenneth Faried has been involved in a numerous NBA trade rumors since the off-season started. Faried is now rumored to play with the Raptors, as the club is looking for an upgrade for their roster this NBA season.

According to a report made by iTech Post, the Denver announced that they are about to make changes on their roster this season. Basketball analyst speculated that Kenneth Faried would be the item for the said upcoming changes on Nuggets' lineup.

On the other hand, the Toronto Raptors are in search for a tenacious front court that would fit their style. The Raptors are known to be an athletic team and that makes them the right destination for Faried.

Kenneth Faried teaming up with All-Stars Demar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry would establish a much brighter future for the Raptors. This would definitely increase their chances to contend against the upgraded New York Knicks and the defending Champion Cleveland Cavaliers.

Kenneth Faried who has a career average of 12.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per night would be a very great help for the Raptors. Though Faried is not known for being a ball swatter, he can defend the low-post with his build and strength. His tenacity and explosiveness would provide the Raptors the offensive skills and rebound stability for them.

As per HNGN, the Raptors are also pursuing Serge Ibaka to add to their roster. Serge Ibaka is also a great player that can be added to the Raptors. Ibaka is known for his defense, a total rim protector and tenacious rebounder. Serge Ibaka can also spread the floor with his 3-point shooting ability.

Though no confirmation yet from all the parties involved, this NBA trade rumor would be a game changer if materialized. Fans from Canada would love to see either Kenneth Faried or Serge Ibaka play for them.
