Kevin Durant made a surprising decision this offseason when he decided to leave the Oklahoma City Thunder to join Golden State Warriors. The basketball superstar has increased the Warriors chances in winning another NBA title. Unfortunately, reports have it that Durant is pushing Klay Thompson in the trading block.

At the time, Golden State Warriors have the best lineup in the NBA league. They have four NBA All-Star including Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson. However, everyone knows that maintaining caliber players would be costly.

Parent Herald previously reported that Klay Thompson is affected the most with Kevin Durant's arrival in the Golden State Warriors. With another superstar in the team, some of the previous key players will have a reduced role and Thompson might be one of them.

Meanwhile, according to Morning Ledger, Kevin Durant's deal with Golden State Warriors is pushing Klay Thompson to Denver Nuggets. There is no question about Thompson's skills but Durant is just way better.

Per the report, Klay Thompson scored 41 points in the crucial Game 6 against Cleveland Cavaliers last NBA season. He also dropped 37 points in a single quarter and has made the most three-pointer in a game.

Unfortunately, Kevin Durant is giving Golden State Warriors another legitimate spot-up shooter. Durant is equipped to replicate all the things that Klay Thompson gives to the Warriors and even offer more.

However, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant remain a sport. Both even play well together for team USA in the recent Rio Olympics. Thompson expressed his interest in playing with Durant. Meanwhile, Durant stressed that they want Thompson to stay as he is.

However, the rumor trading mills are now linking Klay Thompson to Denver Nuggets and Sacramento Kings. In a previous report from Parent Herald, Kings is also interested in signing Thompson and his brother.
