Michael Schumacher Health Condition [LATEST UPDATES]: Former F1 Superstar’s Full Recovery Possible Despite Uncertainties? Fans Commemorate Schumi’s 10th Retirement Anniversary

For the past three years, Michael Schumacher's health condition and recovery have sparked the interest and curiosity of many fans, not to mention the press. However, Schumacher's family requested for a media blackout and up until now, no real-time medical bulletin and updates about Schumi's health condition and recovery have been released.

Following the unfortunate skiing accident at the French Alpine Resort of Meribel in France on Dec. 29, 2013, Michael Schumacher was placed in a medically induced coma for six months due to the head injuries he sustained after the accident. Due to the severity of his injuries, the former Formula One (F1) superstar was reportedly unable to speak and immobile, Parent Herald previously noted.

Michael Schumacher is currently undergoing an intense rehabilitation program at a custom-built, highly secured and state-of-the-art medical facility located at his Geneva, Switzerland estate under the care of 15 medical experts headed by professor Francois Payen. However, previous reports suggested that the health condition of the 47-year-old German car racing legend has been deteriorating day by day.

Despite the uncertainties surrounding Michael Schumacher's health condition and recovery, Auto World News reported that Schumi's family is still not giving up for his possible recovery. Although the condition of the seven-time F1 world champion remains critical, Schumi's family, close friends and supporters are still hoping for his full recovery.

The publication's claims were also echoed by Movie News Guide after it reported that former F1 priest Don Sergio Mantovani offered some glimmer of hope when he revealed that Michael Schumacher is a "fighter" who believes in God. Mantovani further claimed that he has more information about Schumi's current health condition than he wanted to share.

In spite of the fears and doubts on Michael Schumacher's current state, the Schumacher's camp have been optimistic on his health condition and recovery. Unfortunately, Schumi's friend, first sponsor, former Mercedes' sports marketing boss and F1's "puppet master" Gerd Krämer said that the German racer would need some miracles to fully recover, as per Daily Express.

Krämer further claimed that Michael Schumacher's health condition is currently in a "more difficult situation." With that said, Krämer's statements were a major contradiction to former Ferrari chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, who recently claimed that Schumi has been "reacting" well to treatment.

Meanwhile, several Michael Schumacher fans and colleagues remembered the racing career and contributions of the embattled F1 champ on Sept. 10. 2016, a decade after Schumacher announced his first F1 retirement. According to NBC Sports, Schumacher made his decision to retire from the sport at the end of the season and after an emotional victory in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza.

Even though Michael Schumacher's retirement was only temporary at the time, Schumacher has been out of the racing track since his tragic French Alps accident in 2013. Now, Schumacher needs more prayers and perhaps some miracles to fully recover.
