Kendall to Caitlyn Jenner: 'Be Free Now Pretty Bird'; Kardashians, Celebrities & Social Media Reaction

While the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan have been known to constantly make headlines since the debut of their hit reality TV series, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," no other person featured in the said show garnered more media attention and Internet buzz than Bruce Jenner - now known as Caitlyn Jenner, according to Us Magazine.

The first day of June saw the introduction of the "true" person hiding underneath the sportsman image of Bruce with the ex-Olympian, who is now named Caitlyn, posing for the cover of Vanity Fair's July issue. The photo, which has broken records and surpassed even those set by the queen of social media herself, Kim Kardashian, was applauded by Hollywood stars and the rest of the public. Moreover, Caitlyn compared her shoot with the iconic photographer, Annie Leibovitz, to the moment he won the gold medal during the 1976 Olympics.

"That (Olympics) was a good day, but the last couple of days were better," shared Caitlyn to Vanity Fair's Buzz Bissinger. "This shoot was about my life and who I am as a person. It's not about the fanfare, it's not about people cheering in the stadium, it's not about going down the street and everybody giving you 'that a boy, Bruce,' pat on the back, O.K. This is about your life," she added.

In an effort to incorporate her true self in the lives of those who mattered Bruce prior to the transition, Caitlyn even created her own social media accounts, according to a separate Us Magazine report. For her first ever Twitter post as Caitlyn, she wrote, "I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me." Four hours after her Twitter account was created, she reached a million followers.

Meanwhile, Caitlyn's daughters and stepchildren expressed their support for her via social media as well. Kendall Jenner posted, "be free now pretty bird." The 19-year-old's sister and KUWTK co-star, Kylie Jenner, wrote on Instagram, "My angel on earth! #caitlyn"

Kim Kardashian also voiced out her support via Instagram. Kanye West's wife posted, "Caitlyn Jenner for Vanity Fair! Annie Leibovitz! How beautiful! Be happy, be proud, live life YOUR way!" Her sister, Khloe, echoed Kim's sentiments and used the same photo in her Instagram post which she captioned, "We were given this life because you were strong enough to live it! I couldn't be prouder!!! Caitlyn, You are beautiful!!!" Apart from her family, Caitlyn also received accolades from influential stars and personalities. Demi Moore posted on Twitter, "Thank you @Caitlyn_Jenner for sharing the gift of your beautiful authentic self inside and out!" TV show host Ellen DeGeneres also shared her reaction via Twitter and wrote, "My hope for the world is that we can all be as brave as @Caitlyn_Jenner." In fact, even political figures were moved by the courage exhibited by Caitlyn as US President Barack Obama himself posted, "It takes courage to share your story."
