Nvidia Showcases Drive PX 2: Set To Make Driverless Cars Safer Than Tesla’s? To Soon Partner With Uber And Baidu

Driverless cars are slowly becoming a fad since Tesla introduced this idea to the world. However, there are major setbacks from this project that is making a lot of potential consumer to be skeptic regarding its safety. Nvidia, on the other hand, has thought of another idea that would make these cars safe and reliable even without the help of human being. The company's new computer called Drive PX 2 is said to save the day since they announce this project on Sept.13.

According to a report made by PC World, the Drive PX 2 is just the size of a palm, which would help in driving driverless cars. It serves as a hybrid of Google Maps and a robot that would guide the car on the road while passing through an automated highway. Drive PX 2's has a horsepower that will serve as the navigator of the car itself. This makes the driving smooths and free from accidents.

Now, there is a huge possibility that we will be riding driverless cabs as soon as Uber finally cuts a deal with Nvidia. Companies like Uber are definitely ideal to grab this kind of opportunity for their business. Our generation couldn't be more high tech when the time has come that we all will be requesting driverless cabs via our Uber or Lyft apps.

There are other companies who are also interesting in being partners with Nvidia and among these is Baidu. In a blog post by Nvidia, they said that they will be working along with Baidu when it comes to the cloud serving of their driverless cars. Baidu is quite known for their mapping skills and cloud service that when these are combined with Nvidia's tools and hardware, there is no doubt that they could create secured and reliable, functioning driverless cars.
