NBA Trade Rumors: Philadelphia 76ers Still Entertaining Offers For A Nerlens Noel Or Jahlil Okafor Trade?

For those following the progress this offseason, Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel are regulars in the NBA trade rumor mills. According to recent reports, Philadelphia 76ers is still open to offers involving either of the players.

Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel have the potentials. At their age, they are promising superstars. However, Philadelphia 76ers has a surplus of big men and has to let go one of them, which points to either Okafor or Noel.

Both players are linked to several teams in the NBA league but up to now, no deal has been sealed. If Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor stay with the Sixers, they would have to live the tough environment there and fight for their minutes.

Parent Herald previously reported that Brett Brown admitted the tough environment in Philadelphia 76ers, especially for Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel's position. Both play the center position and when they shared the floor, one has to play out of his position.

Things are more challenging because aside from Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor, Sixers has Joel Embiid playing the same position and whom Brown has more confidence. In fact, he referred to Embiid as Philly's strongest piece for defense and disclosed that Noel and Okafor have to earn their minutes.

Yes, Nerlens Noel and Jahlil Okafor are not in their best place in Philadelphia 76ers. However, according to Inquisitr, Philly is still open to deal the players, the team is just waiting for others teams' offer.

The report has it that Boston Celtics could do a trade with Philadelphia 76ers for Nerlens Noel. Unfortunately, the team lacks the asset to pursue the trade.

Meanwhile, there are rumors  that Chicago Bulls are pushing for a Jahlil Okafor trade. Bulls have Robin Lopez but Okafor will be a great backup in case he gets injured.

Both were also linked to the current NBA champ, Cleveland Cavaliers. Parent Herald previously reported that LeBron James needs a big man on the basketball court to back him up for a back-to-back championship for Cavs, which Jahlil Okafor or Nerlens Noel could fill.
