Surface Pro 5 Release Date, Specs & News: Microsoft Confirms Early 2017 Launch With Kaby Lake Processor Inside, Ready To Compete With MacBook

Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will really be a very exciting tablet computer and is even expected to compete with the MacBook Pro. While there is no confirmation on when the upcoming Surface Pro 5 would be coming but consumers are expecting a lot from Microsoft and that it would be better than its last tablet.

When the Surface Pro 4 came out a lot of buyers got mostly curious about its unique style. While the style with a screen part with a kickstand has already been used by a lot of hybrids but what makes the Surface Pro 4 different from all the rest is its Core i7 processors which make it mostly powerful.

Microsoft really made the Surface Pro 4 a very powerful efficient device as its CPU is more powerful and is very compatible with Windows 10. Since its release in October 2015, consumers are buzzing that it is almost near for the Surface Pro 5.

Microsoft also provided us with a pattern on specific dates of their Surface Pro series. The first Surface Pro came in February 2013 while Surface Pro 2 came in October 2013. Surface Pro 3 on June 2014 and was followed by the Surface Pro 4 in October 2015.

If they will follow their timeline, it could be concluded that the Surface Pro 5 would come on October 2016 or a possible February 2017. Surface Pro 5 is rumored to have the latest Kaby Lake processor that will also be released next year, so it may just coincide with Kaby Lake's release.

When it comes to the price of the upcoming Surface Pro 5, it may start at $900 to $1800 for the Intel Core i7 version, Trusted Reviews reported. As suggested the price of the upcoming Surface Pro 5 may not even be different from the Surface Pro 4 but may just be slightly higher.
