"Rick and Morty" Season 3 return date is believed to come out in late 2016. During an interview with Dan Harmon, the series creator teased that the Adult Swim series will come out sooner than what most fans and viewers are expecting, notes Geek.

During the "Rick and Morty" Season 2 finale, Mr. Poopy Butthole said that the next season of the show will air in a year and a half. If it were true, then Season 3 would be released in March 2017; however, as Harmon stated during the Magic City Comic Con, the new season will be released "around the end of this year."

Aside from this, there is also a popular "Rick and Morty" theory out there with regard to the relationship between Rick and Evil Morty. According to Movie Pilot, a master theory on Reddit provides a plausible connection between Rick and Evil Morty.

The publication notes that there is a possibility that the main Rick of the show, who is known as Rick C-137 may be related to Eye-Patch Morty. The "Rick and Morty" Season 3 theory states that the First Morty may not be the original one that came from the same universe as Rick C-137 and that Eye-Patch Morty is the real Morty C-137.

This is believed to be one of the strongest theories out there about "Rick and Morty" Season 3. Dan Harmon even stated that one of the theories on Reddit was, in fact, true.
