Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Baby No. 2's Name Unlikely 'South West', Claims Source

With the catchy name of their firstborn North West, celebrity parents Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are expected to come up with an equally appealing handle for their second baby. But according to TMZ.com, there is no possibility of the couple giving direction-related names such as South or East, as relayed by sources close to them.

Mirror.co.uk stated that Kanye and Kim wanted the name of this baby to be strong and perhaps traditional. It is speculated that since the couple's parents have tradional names as well, this may play a role in their choices.

What's in a name? There are studies which conclude that children's names can affect how they are perceived by society in general, and may contribute to either good or bad childhood experiences.

As reported by parenting.com, National Bureau of Economics researchers from MIT and the University of Chicago found out that the racial perception of a name can affect chances of having a job interview. However, parents need not fret as to the effects of names, since in the long run, names alone do not gauge the success of each individual, research shows.
