'One Punch Man' Season 2 News & Updates: Boros To Appear In Season 2 This October?

"One Punch Man" hero Saitama is set to display his greatest power in the action-comedy anime this week, as it approaches its series finale for season 1. The action-comedy "One Punch Man" has been successful in attracting a huge following on Toonami, and there have been talks of a second season afterwards.

The original manga had gained rising popularity when it circulated last 2009, and the anime adaptation received the same recognition since being released on TV, according to the Inquisitr. Fans are already anticipating on a "One Punch Man" season 2 sometime soon.

Other than the anime characters' antics in "One Punch Man", its relatively popular English-dubbed first season is said to have its final run by October this year. While this is yet to be confirmed, there's also talks of a Japanese version for season 2.

An interesting development from the "One Punch Man" webcomic and manga is that of villain Garou, who is predicted to appear in the anime version. It has been known that Garou is a disciple of elderly sensei Bang, who went rogue. Bang has already appeared in few of the episodes for "One Punch Man" season 1.

There's further speculation that Hero Registry member Amai Mask would turn against Saitama in upcoming "One Punch Man" episodes, and that our hero would be defeated this time around.

Meanwhile, Viz Media has also announced the English voice cast for the remaining episodes of "One Punch Man" for season 1, in a related Anime News Network post. During an interview with Dave Casipit, the producer for One Punch Man's English version, he stated that it took them a while to search for the person who would be behind Saitama's great enemy.

As it turns out, Chris Jai Alex came out on top as equal to the Japanese version of Boros. Casipit added that Alex's voice as well as his "performance, pitch and rhythm were all a perfect match". Cool!
