‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 News & Spoilers: Sophie Turner Confirms Major Character Deaths; More Characters Will Reunite

"Game of Thrones" only has two seasons left before it says goodbye from the air for good. The seventh season of the highly popular HBO drama will premiere in the summer of 2017, and details about the upcoming episodes have already been revealed. Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the series, has an ominous warning for viewers -- Season 7 of "Game of Thrones" will have major character deaths.

Turner said that "not all of us" will make it into the eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones," Variety reported. The 20-year-old actress said sadness wraps around the whole crew as the show is nearing its end, adding that more people are "hanging around Belfast a bit longer to be around each other and be in each other's presence." Belfast, Ireland is one of the show's shooting locations.

Turner's Sansa got reunited with her brother, Jon Snow (Kit Harington), before Season 6 of "Game of Thrones" ended. Together, the siblings defeated -- and killed -- Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) and reclaimed House Stark's traditional home, Winterfell.

Turner said fans should watch out for Sansa's Season 7 arc, saying that you "don't really know what's going on with her this season." The actress said the "Game of Thrones" creative team is trying to work out where Sansa's loyalties lie and whether "she is going to pull through and be a true Stark or not."

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who portrays Jaime Lannister, revealed that the last two seasons of "Game of Thrones" will reunite many characters that haven't seen or interacted with each other for years. This move was already seen in Sansa and Jon meeting up in Season 6 and it will happen more as the series progresses.

The "Game of Thrones" cast didn't hold back when it comes to sharing their thoughts about the upcoming season. Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, recently revealed that she was rendered "speechless" after reading the scripts for Season 7, describing it as "unbelievable" and "crazy," Parent Herald previously reported. Maisie Williams, who portrays Arya Stark, tweeted last month that "nothing will prepare" fans for what they're about to watch.

A big battle spectacle is also being cooked for "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Rumors claimed that the huge fight will be between Daenerys' Unsullied-Dothraki army versus the Lannisters and Euron Greyjoy's (Pilou Asbaek) Ironborn force. There are speculations that Euron will kill one of the Sand Snakes in Season 7.
