Brooklyn Nets Latest News: NBA Team Considering Kendall Marshall and P.J. Hairston To Play Alongside Star Player Jeremy Lin

Brooklyn Nets still has no complete roster and according to reports, Kendall Marshall and P.J. Hairston are to try out for the NBA team. One of the two could play alongside Brooklyn Nets' starting point guard Jeremy Lin.

The training camp for the 2016-2017 NBA season is set to start in a few days and the Brooklyn Nets reportedly want to have a better roster this year since they are dubbed as one of the worst teams in the entire NBA league. They also have to resort to players trying out for their team as they could not acquire anyone from their 2017 NBA Draft first round pick since they are sending these players to Boston Celtics due to a previous trade, Sportsrageous reported.

Hairston is reportedly the best player that Brooklyn Nets could have as it would be difficult for Marshall to help the team win specifically because the point guard position is already taken. Hairston played for the Charlotte Hornets and Memphis Grizzlies in the past. If Brooklyn Nets will sign him, he could take the shooting guard position. Hairston has been one of the players who had great value but that all changed when he has issues off the court.

Hairston could play well alongside Lin and Brook Lopez, who are Brooklyn Nets' best players in their roster now. Bojan Bogdanovic could also contribute for the Brooklyn Nets in the 2016-2017 season and might start with the small forward position.

If the Brooklyn Nets decided to sign Marshall instead of Hairston, it could also work out as Marshall could fill the shooting guard spot. He is best known for his outside shot so that would be a great advantage if he plays alongside Lin. Marshall played for Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers in the past.

More on Lin, he was rumored to be returning to the New York Knicks but that did not happen and the reason behind it has been revealed. In a report by iSports Times, it is rumored that New York Knicks did not want Lim back because of his struggles when it comes to defense. He played for the team for the 2011-2012 NBA season.

Brooklyn Nets is yet to reveal which of the aforementioned players will be playing alongside Jeremy Lin. Who do you think should they get? Let us know what you think below.
