'Frozen 2' Updates: More of Olaf! Funny Sidekick Gets Own Love Interest, Christmas Special

Fans anxiously wait for more updates about "Frozen 2." While the sequel has already been green lit by Disney, not a lot has been said about its release date and plot.

Speculations have suggested that the "Frozen 2" will still feature the old faces fans loved in the previous movie. Lead characters and sisters Elsa and Anna are more than sure to return, as well as their flurry friend Olaf. Previous rumors have also claimed that Anna's love interest, Kristoff, is slated to return.

Although not yet confirmed, there are also talks about Prince Hans returning to Arendelle. In "Frozen 2" however, fans will reportedly a reformed Prince Hans, and not the evil and conniving antagonist fans despised in the first installment.

Meanwhile, "Frozen 2" rumors are suggesting that Olaf will get a lot of screen time in the upcoming movie. As The Telegraph once reported, Olaf could have a love interest in the upcoming movie, suggesting that someone apart from the two main characters will find their one true love.

If that's not the direction Disney is going, fans can just enjoy the Olaf Christmas special that will reportedly air in 2017 on ABC. Actress Kristen Bell, who plays Anna in the movie, confirmed that they have already recorded for the new project.

As for "Frozen 2," the actress admitted that they have yet to start recording for the sequel. In an interview with Collider, Kristen shared that she thought that recording will begin soon, but execs are still doing some finishing touches on the script.
