"Stranger Things" Season 2 is hitting Netflix with all-new episodes after the online streaming service announced the show's renewal. During the said announcement, the network also released episode titles for the upcoming season. What can fans expect from the upcoming season of the series?

"Stranger Things" Season 2 spoilers reveal that the same characters - Dustin, Lucas, Mike and Will will be returning to the upcoming season of the show, reports Cinema Blend. Aside from this, the cast will be joined by three new characters, namely: Billy, Roman and Max.

Out of these three new "Stranger Things" Season 2 cast, Roman appears to be someone who is looking to get revenge on someone. Billy, on the other hand, is described as a 17-year-old who has problems keeping his anger to himself and could possibly be a murderer.

"Stranger Things" Season 2 spoilers from Matt and Ross Duffer also reveal that there will be a one-year time jump from where things left off in the Season 1 finale. This means that fans and viewers will see more outside of Hawkins in the upcoming season.

With regard to the possibility that fans and viewers will see Barb in "Stranger Things" Season 2, the cast talked to Entertainment Weekly to explain why their characters did not look for Barb. According to Gaten Matarazzo, Barb was not really their focus because they were not close to her.

However, they expressed interest in seeing more of Barb in "Stranger Things" Season 2. There is a possibility that Barb is still alive and is only trapped in some other dimension since Matt Duffer previously hinted that fans have only seen a small part of The Upside Down.

"Stranger Things" Season 2 is expected to premiere in 2017 on Netflix.
