'Iron Man 4' To Have Spider-Man Cameo? Tony Stark's Death Looming?

"Iron Man 4" and Tony Stark death rumors have started to spread like wildfire online. Like the unknown status of the fourth film, there has been no confirmation whether Robert Downey Jr. is still interested in playing the genius philanthropist in a solo film for the fourth time.

Previous reports have already suggested that Marvel is not keen on getting RDJ back to play Tony Stark in "Iron Man 4." Apart from the actor's age, one of the pressing issues that have arose focuses on his expensive salary. As Vine Report noted, it could be possible that RDJ declined starring in another solo movie after Marvel failed to meet his salary demands. The publication noted that RDJ is the highest paid actor on Marvel's roster.

However, a new photo surfaced online that has recently sent "Iron Man 4" hopefuls into a frenzy. In a photo posted by the actor on Twitter, Marvel execs, director Jon Favreau and "Spider-Man: Homecoming" star Tom Holland were seen meeting about a rumored new project. Some have started to speculate that the new project could very much be the fourth "Iron Man" movie.

Just in case Robert Downey Jr. doesn't reprise his role in "Iron Man 4" due to Tony Stark's rumored death, replacements for his character have already been suggested this early. Should the MCU mirror the events happening in the comic book realm, a new heroine named Riri Williams will be donning the Iron Man suit, and will be called "Iron Heart."
