'Kingdom Hearts 3' News & Update: 'Star Wars' And Marvel Characters Confirmed!; 'Kingdom Hearts 2.8' Delayed Moved To 2017

Square Enix's action role-playing game "Kingdom Hearts 3" is among the anticipated game for years. Fans have been waiting for so long but the game remains in the dark. The developers are enticing fans to wait for "Kingdoms Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" instead, which is also be delayed.

"Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" is expected to be available by the end of the year but according to iTech Post, the title is delayed. "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" is pushed back to January 2017 because of the adjustments in the title.

Although "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" is delayed, fans can expect a better gameplay experience. According to the Bitbag, based on Square Enix's EGX 2016 demo, the upcoming title will include stunning and amazing visuals. In fact, it is the best compared to the previous "Kingdom Hearts" title.

Aside from this, "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" takes the best out of "Kingdom Hearts 2" and "Birth By Sleep." It comes with improved visuals, audio and gameplay.

Meanwhile, the report added that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will also be released next year, thus, it will be a double fun. Per Game Rant, "KH3" director Tetsuya Nomura revealed that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will not include any world from the "Final Fantasy" series and that it will conclude the "Dark Seeker" storyline.

Speaking of worlds in "Kingdom Hearts 3," co-director Tai Yasue teases the inclusion of "Star Wars" and Marvel characters in the anticipated title. However, per iTech Post, Square Enix is still waiting to get the right from Disney.

Among the worlds that fans want to see in "Kingdom Hearts 3" are "Frozen," "Tangled," "Wreck-It-Ralph" and "Big Hero 6" to name a few. Aside from these worlds, Square Enix may introduce more characters.
