LeBron’s Personal Goal: Passing Jordan as NBA’s GOAT.

LeBron James is still the king of the NBA world, but he feels that there is one more thing he has to accomplish before he retires, and that is to surpass the great Michael Jordan as the NBA's greatest of all time.

After 13 seasons in the NBA, garnering 3 NBA Championships, 4 NBA Most Valuable Player awards, 3 Finals MVP trophies, 12 All-Star Appearances, a scoring title, and was selected as Rookie of the Year, LeBron has one more personal accomplishment in mind, and that is to be called the best player to ever play the game, a title that is currently given to "His Airness," Michael Jordan.

At the Cleveland Cavaliers Media Day, LeBron made the statement that it is his personal goal to be greater than great. He looks at Jordan as the best ball player in the history of the game, and says that he aspires to be like him. James added that he uses that motivation to push his game even further, and reach the level where Jordan is, according to Fox Sports.

At the age of 31, LeBron is still at the peak of his career, as he recently won his third NBA title, in a classic showdown against the Golden State Warriors, where they rallied back from being down 3 games to 1 in the 7 game Finals series. King James led all players in the playoff series in five categories, points, steals, rebounds, assists, and blocks.

With the recent retirement of his idols Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, and Tim Duncan, LeBron looks at his own basketball legacy and what he will leave the NBA when he hangs up his Nikes in the future. According to NBA.com, LeBron says that his draft class is up next, with former teammate and friend Chris Bosh, no longer returning to action in the upcoming season with the Miami Heat.

To further his claim to the Greatest-Of-All-Time title, the King's next immediate goal is to repeat, and win another title with Cleveland. He plans on keeping his team focused, as the another season is about to begin.
