Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston's whirlwind romance ended a few weeks ago which got fans thinking who would be Swift's next boy toy. After their split was confirmed rumors emerged that Taylor Swift is back with her former flame, Calvin Harris.

Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift ended their relationship after more than a year of being together. Swift then moved on from Harris and started a whirlwind romance with Tom Hiddleston which only lasted a few months. Weeks after her relationship with Hiddleston ended, rumors surfaced that she and Calvin Harris patched things up.

A source exclusively told Hollywood Life that Calvin Harris does not want to be involved with Taylor Swift's future songs. The source then added that Calvin Harris rekindled their broken relationship as he wanted to live a quiet life.

"Calvin wants to be friends with Taylor because he makes hits with her and he doesn't want to be a future hit for her," a source EXCLUSIVELY told Hollywood Life "He doesn't want to be a punchline and reached out to her to make amends with her. He lives his life mostly drama-free and wants that to continue with his relationship with Taylor even if they don't return to romance."

After Calin Harris and Taylor Swift's break-up, the DJ released a series of tweets which slammed Taylor. He even highlighted that it pains him to be a victim of Taylor's squad as they have the capacity to make him look bad.

"[It's] hurtful to me at this point that [Taylor] and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage," a compilation of Calvin Harris consecutive tweets read. " I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex down for something to do, I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy [Perry] ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it."

Parent Herald previously reported that Taylor Swift's new album would potentially slam most of her exes. With her previous hits in which taunt her exes, it is not impossible for Calvin Harris to have his own Taylor Swift song if he won't patch things up with the "Dear John" singer.
