NBA Latest Rumors: Chicago Bulls And Brooklyn Nets Ready To Sign Deal For Brook Lopez Trade?

Brook Lopez is reportedly set to go to the Chicago Bulls after the team landed a deal with the Brooklyn Nets. Accordingly, the deal will soon be signed by the involved parties and the player.

The center will reportedly help improve the roster of Chicago Bulls as he will be filling the spot left by power forward Pau Gasol. Gasol recently got acquired by San Antonio Spurs in the latest offseason. If the trade regarding Lopez would push through, he will be helping Chicago Bulls in improving the frontcourt so that they will be one of the top contenders in the upcoming 2016-2017 NBA season.

Mobile & Apps reported that Chicago Bulls will let Lopez play alongside the big men on the roster such as Jimmy Butler, Taj Gibson, and Rajon Rondo. Butler plays as a shooting guard, Gibson plays as the power forward, and Rondo plays as the point guard. If the deal will take place, the offensive and defensive strategies of Chicago Bulls will drastically improve.

However, the deal will be paid via a hefty price by the Chicago Bulls. Accordingly, they will be trading three players to get Lopez. These players are said to be Denzel Valentine, Nikola Mirotic, and Bobby Portis.

As per basketball analysts, iSports Web reported that it is time to trade Lopez as he has been on the trading block for years now. Accordingly, it is time to send Lopez to a winning team despite his loyalty to the Brooklyn Nets. He is expected to bring 20 points and eight rebounds per game this upcoming NBA season and with such skill, he should be playing for a winning team.

Lopez is compared to the likes of Chris Bosh and Kevin Love. He might not be the go-to player but he could contribute well for the team he plays for. Many are saying that he should go join the Portland Trailblazers but there have been no confirmations yet as to which team he will be joining or if Brooklyn Nets is really looking to trade him.

If he does join Portland Trailblazers, he will be playing alongside their point guard, Damian Lillard, and their shooting guard, C.J. McCollum.
