‘Pokemon Sun and Moon’ Latest News Update: New Game Features, Trailer To Launch This Month; Is Mega Evolution Included?

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" fans are in for treats before the actual release of the highly anticipated games. The Pokemon Company is reportedly scheduled to reveal new game features, including a new trailer.

New details of the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games are expected to unveil on Oct. 4 at 9 a.m. EST, Nintendo News reported. No hints have been given on what the Pokemon Company plans to release as of this posting but some gamers believe that the company will share what the evolutions of starter Pokemons would be, Opptrends reported.

This is because the previous starter evolution details for "Pokemon X and Y" games were released days before the actual launch date of the said games. "Pokemon Sun and Moon" fans apparently suspect that there is a pattern that the Pokemon Company follows when it comes to revealing the game's starter evolutions.

Meanwhile, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games are also expected to include the Mega Evolution, a feature originally derived from "Pokemon X and Y," GamenGuide reported. Mega Evolution is a form of Pokemon transformation that allows the pocket monsters to evolve without limits. Pokemons that underwent Mega Evolution could also possibly change their ability and type.

The news about the inclusion of Mega Evolution emerged after fans reportedly saw the Mega Evolution on a "Pokemon Sun and Moon" magazine. However, the Pokemon Company has not confirmed whether Mega Evolution will be included in the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games yet. In addition, this may or may not be included in the upcoming announcement of the Pokemon Company as well.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" games are slated to debut in North America and Japan on Nov. 18. The European launch is expected to be a little late which is scheduled on Nov. 23. "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games are exclusively intended for the Nintendo 3DS platform.
