Google Virtual-Reality Headset Updates: Price And Official Release Date Inside

Tech giant Google is about to release its highly-awaited Virtual-Reality Headset on October 4, Tuesday during an important tech event in San Francisco. The company named this product Daydream and the price starts at only $79.

According to Fortune, Google's Daydream is bound to compete with Facebook and its known version of a virtual-reality headset, the Oculus Rift along with the Gear VR headset from Samsung. This one that Google is about to launch is more affordable than the two products mentioned earlier. You could usually purchase these gadgets for at least $100, but Google made it sure that it is cheaper than almost $20 with them.

CNET wrote that the Daydream Virtual-Reality Headset will be made by HTC. There are a couple more gadgets that Google is about to announce on the said event this Tuesday and they are the Pixel and the Pixel XL. These are phones by Google also manufactured by HTC.

It has been five months since Google told the public about Daydream. It would basically run as a virtual-reality headset through the help of an Android mobile phone by Google. This would also make it easier for other Android phone companies to incorporate the Google Daydream virtual-headset to their device.

Moreover, Variety reported that a touch pad won't be needed to navigate the Google Daydream. This is the difference that this product has compared to Samsung's Gear Virtual-Reality headset. You will just need a controller that you can access using your hand in order to navigate the viewing of the virtual-headset. If you are familiar with playing Wii, then you have an idea on how this one would work.

This gadget enables motion tracking and even playing online video games. Are you excited to get your hands on this new Google Daydream Virtual-Reality Headset?
