New Batman Film To Be Entitled As “The Batman”; Affleck To Wear “Tactical Suit” Plus One More in “Justice League”

It is already public knowledge that Ben Affleck will play, co-write and direct an upcoming solo Batman movie, but the buck stops there. All other things about the movie still linger beyond the Bat-Signal, and fans have yet to see a rather vivid picture of what's going to happen. And for most of them, the next Batman movie still remains "a solo Batman movie" for the time being.

Recent Batman rumors, however, want to keep the hype up. Lazy Gamer has it that the upcoming film will involve a bevy of villains, particularly "many, if not most, members of Batman's rogue's gallery" in an effort to create a "definitive Batman film". The website added that Batfleck and co-write Jeff Johns aims to come in par, or even to "finally replace Tim Burton's 1989 masterpiece". Be that as it may, Joe Manganiello will have his hands full when he suits up Slade Wilson, or better known as Deathstroke. He may not be the entire Rogue's Gallery, but Deathstroke is the only bad guy Affleck hinted as of this moment.

But then again, Affleck came with a rather trinket. While talking with the Associated Press, Batfleck stated that they might just call his upcoming superhero flick as The Batman.

"The movie I think is going to be called "The Batman". At least that's what we're going with right now," he said, adding that there's still a possibility that he "might change it". Also, Affleck confirmed they are "working on a script" and that it "is going well, I'm really excited about it."

In other news, Affleck's Batman in another superhero film, "Justice League" has been reported to don a "tactical suit". The alleged change in drab was teased last month, and while it does look "tactical", it also mimic's Nite Owl's costume in one of Snyder's not so acclaimed "Watchmen" movie. In a separate interview, Affleck said that Batman will have "two suits in Justice League, one that we've seen before and then one that he augments because of the nature of the... mission, which I can't give away."

Sure enough, we will see Batfleck as The Batman in two upcoming superhero movies. There's no telling whether it's going to be a blockbuster hit, or something torn in between just like Batman v Superman. Either way, it'll be worth the wait.
