'Thor: Ragnarok' Spoilers, Latest News & Update: Movie Teases New Storyline; Skurge, Valkyrie to Appear, Plus Korg Cameo?

Aside from the fact that Chris Hemsworth will still portray the God of Thunder, there's little word about what "Thor: Ragnarok" would be in terms of its storyline. While Thor: The Dark World gave us a glimpse of what the Reality Stone could do through the power of the Aether, "Thor: Ragnarok" still has a lot of puzzles missing. However, new rumors and potential spoilers reveal several interesting insights on what fans should expect in the upcoming superhero film.

Speaking for Schmoesknow.com, Ace Showbiz pointed that new Thor subtitle won't be based on the popular comic storyline. Rather, Ragnarok is a planet where Thor and the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) "will be imprisoned." Both heroes in the movie "Thor: Ragnarok," will "have to fight" as a team to escape the seemingly endless arena headed by the Grandmaster, which will be played by Jeff Goldblum. To make things a tad difficult for the Avengers members, Grandmaster will be accompanied by Skurge the Executioner (Karl Urban), a rather grumpy enforcer wielding a magical double-bladed battle axe.

Meanwhile, Comic Book Movie plotted that another Asgardian will be introduced in "Thor: Ragnarok." Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), also known by her real name Brunnhilde, will earn Thor's "respect and join his cause to find a way off the planet." Another curious note the website made is when they said that in "Thor: Ragnarok," Skurge "will apparently have a change of heart" and help the heroes escape.

There's also word that Korg will be making an appearance in "Thor: Ragnarok." Created by writer Greg Park and Filipino freelance comic book artist Carlo Pagulayan, Korg was first seen in The Incredible Hulk #93 during the "Planet Hulk" era. What makes Korg a bit special is that "Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi posted something of his semblance in his Instagram page.

Fans on the other hand believe that Korg in "Thor: Ragnarok" won't have much screen time, but some sort of easter egg for future reference, or even a fourth Thor title.
