Taylor Swift Stealing Lady Gaga's Thunder? 'Shake It Off' Singer Signs Multi-Year Deal With AT&T To Headline Pre-Super Bowl Performance

Lady Gaga is not the only person to anticipate in the upcoming Super Bowl after she was announced to perform for the halftime show. It was recently revealed by AT&T that "Shake It Off" singer, Taylor Swift, signed a multi-year deal with the company to headline pre-Super Bowl performances.

The announcement said that the multi-million deal will include performances and content regarding Swift to headline performances at AT&T DIRECTV Super Saturday Night in Houston this February 4, Entertainment Weekly shared. John Stankey, the CEO of AT&T Entertainment Group, said in a statement that they are thrilled that they were able to reach a deal to bring Swift and her unique talents to her fans and their customers in new and exclusive ways.

They noted that they have had many stars in the past but the believe 2017 will be their very best. The announcement added, "We're excited to get event tickets into the hands of Taylor's fans and exclusive content from the event to our customers and celebrate the combination of one of the world's biggest artists with one of the world's biggest sporting events." It is unclear how the tickets will be acquired but it will reportedly be available via AT&T promotions and campaigns, E! News reported.

The announcement continued to say that there will be more details about the deal in the upcoming weeks and months but as of now they have no other information as to what Swift will be performing or if she will be having guests during her performance.

Swift took to Twitter to post a photo of an AT&T jersey decorated with her lucky number, which is 13. She said that it will be fun and did not provide further details.

More on Lady Gaga being the performer for the Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 5, the "Bad Romance" songstress said that she wants to sing and dance and be as close to her fans as possible during the event.
