"Sense8" Season 2 cancellation news are making rounds online, as the Netflix sci-fi drama is one of the most expensive shows out there. Production for the series is no joke; as the eight Sensates are scattered across the world, this means that the cast and crew have to travel to different cities in order to produce the show.

It is rumored that "Sense8" Season 2 will serve as the series finale for the show. Fans speculated on the show's cancellation even more after the cast members shared photos from their last day on set.

"Sense8" Season 2 recently wrapped up production after traveling to different cities across the globe. Actor Brian J. Smith tweeted a photo with the rest of the cast and said that "it was the adventure of a lifetime."

This fuelled speculations that "Sense8" Season 2 was ending. However, Smith only said that production has ended and not the show itself.

Smith also revealed in a separate tweet that "Sense8" Season 2 release date is in December. It can be recalled that the Netflix series will be releasing a Christmas special before it drops its new episodes in January 2017.

This means that it is only a couple of months before fans and viewers get to see "Sense8" Season 2 back on the small screens. The official renewal order, however, will still be coming from Netflix.
