‘BrainDead’ Season 2 Cancelled On CBS: Ratings Fail To Score A Renewal Order From Network

"BrainDead" is one of the most bizarre shows on CBS, but it was not enough to gain attention from the TV viewers. Season 1 ratings show that the series did not do so well that it may not be enough to score another season on the network. What are the odds of getting a Season 2 for the show?

"BrainDead" Season 1 had a lot of potential in terms of its unique storyline and how it is being conveyed to the audience. Unfortunately, ratings for the first season of the series showed that the viewers did not find it as stellar or as interesting.

According to Carter Matt, "BrainDead" Season 1 received an average of 0.4 rating when the episodes were aired. This means that there is a higher chance that the show would be cancelled for good and that the possibility of Season 2 should be flushed down the drain.

However, several fans remain optimistic that "BrainDead" Season 2 can still happen. As Zap2It notes, the show seemed to be on the wrong network and the way the story was presented to the audience could have been done better.

This is pretty much the same case as with Bradley Cooper's produced show "Limitless." It can be recalled that the TV series was cancelled after one season because it did not perform well in the ratings even though it had a pretty interesting storyline.

The publication notes that "BrainDead" Season 2 renewal has not yet been issued by CBS nor has the network announced that the show is cancelled for good. The publication also notes that a sci-fi drama from the same network, "Under the Dome" was also cancelled.
