Luke Cage is Marvel Studio's new superhero series and it is a hit. Marvel movies and series are known for making references to other Marvel productions and comic books. A lot of buzz is surrounding the references and easter eggs found in the new series.

There are videos uploaded in the internet that show the easter eggs in Luke Cage. Some of it are plainly obvious while some are more subtle.

For instance, the obvious ones included the other heroes and villains of Marvel such as Misty Knight and the origins of Luke Cage based on the comic books. On the other hand, the not-so-obvious easter eggs are those that gave subtle references to the other characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Another interesting easter egg in Luke Cage is found in Episode 12, as reported by IGN. In this episode, Stan Lee is seen in a poster on the wall of a convenience store. The legend did not do a cameo for Luke Cage, but his subtle appearance through a poster was exciting enough for the fans.

There are references to Jessica Jones, Hellcat, Wilson Fisk, and some villains in Daredevil. Jessica Jones was mentioned quite a number of times by Luke Cage himself, according to IndieWire.

In the last episode of Luke Cage, Claire grabs a flyer for a self-defense class under Colleen Wing who is expected to appear in "Iron Fist." Colleen will make friends with Misty and they will build a detective agency based on Marvel lore.

Aside from Marvel characters, Marvel movies are also referenced in Luke Cage. One of them is the Avengers movie that was mentioned as "The Battle of New York" or "The Incident."
